International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Compliance Notice

At Tampa Bay Photonics, we take great care to ensure compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which are set forth by the United States Department of State. ITAR regulates the export, import, and transfer of defense-related articles, technical data, and services to protect national security interests.

As part of our commitment to adhering to ITAR guidelines, we would like to inform you of the following:

ITAR Restricted Products: Some of the products available for sale or distribution are subject to ITAR regulations. These products are specifically designed or intended for military or defense-related applications and are governed by ITAR.

Export Controls: ITAR restricts the export and transfer of certain defense articles, technical data, and services to non-U.S. persons or entities without the necessary authorization or license from the U.S. Department of State. Under ITAR 120.16 refers to "Any natural person who is not a lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20) or who is not a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C.1324b(a)(3). It also means any foreign corporation, business association,partnership, trust, society or any other entity or group that is not incorporated or organized to do business in the United States, as well as international organizations, foreign governments and any agency or subdivision of foreign governments (e.g., diplomatic missions)."

Compliance Assurance: We assure our customers that we take the necessary steps to comply with ITAR regulations. This includes maintaining and handling of restricted products and technical data.

Customer Responsibilities: We kindly request our customers to ensure their compliance with ITAR regulations when purchasing and utilizing our ITAR-restricted products. It is the responsibility of our customers to adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

Shipping:

Orders are shipped with tracking and full insurance. Products under "ready to ship" are in stock and will ship as it is with whatever upgrades or modifications it may have same day or next business day. Items will be dropped off at the UPS store in the morning or evening.
