With features like Variable gain control, onboard infrared illumination, waterproof/shockproof housing, and only needing 1 AA battery for 40 hours of runtime, the PVS-14 is a great option for new and seasoned end users. This ready to ship unit has new Noctis Technologies lenses and a Photonis Echo gen 2+ high gain intensifier. This intensifier features auto-gating, manual gain adjustment, and a higher gain range then other brands on the market. Photonis is known to produce high quality night vision devices with state of the art manufacturing in France. The high gain gen 2+ systems deliver excellent performance in low light conditions very comparable to American gen 3 technology.
